Condolence Messages

  • I consider myself very lucky to have been able to call this beautiful lady my good friend, we spent so many great lunches when she was down in Mollymook nearly always at Toni’s Italian with many other friends. Val loved eating there and always ordered the veal Marsala and veggies it’s the best she’d say. We became friend through our husbands who somehow just clicked too her and Peter were a great support to me when my husband Aub died nearly 12years ago and I hope I was the same for Val when her Peter died too. I was blessed that I went to Griffith for the citrus festival and open gardens a few years ago Val took me to so many lovely gardens and of course wineries she went out of her way to make this a memorable experience. Nothing was ever too much for her she never complained and always had a beautiful smile. In my last long phone conversation with her we chattered about how well we got on and decided it was probably because we were only children that’s what made us the same, like me her family were the most important thing in her life her children grandchildren she was so so proud of all of you, I feel like I know all of you so well but sadly only had the privilege to meet Susan when she bought Val to Mollymook and Travis briefly when I was at Val’s in Griffith never got to meet Greg feel I know a little about him, as for her grandchildren she would tell me about how well they were all going at school, sport etc. I know you all have your own wonderfull memories of your mum, mother-in-law and grandma hold on to these talk about her laughter and cry a little she’s out of pain at peace and with her Peter. I will be thinking of you all on Monday I’ll watch the service on live stream the world is a little sadder now Val’s left. My Love To All Kay Hamilton 😢😞😥😞💝💝💝💝💝💝
