Our family was so sad to hear of the loss of Professor Hopp. When our daughter was very young, we were blessed to have the care of Dr Hopp and the whole paed ward at Griffith. His care, skill and calm nature reassured us at a time when we were afraid and worried. We could not have ever hoped for someone better to help our daughter. To Professor Hopp's family, our deep condolences. Please know there are so many families that you may never have known about but that are all the better for having contact with such a wonderful man.

Dear Mrs. Hopp, Dagney, Josh, Pete and family, I'm so sorry to hear of the unexpected passing of Prof. Hopp. He was a wonderful person to be around in the brief time I knew him when working at Griffith Base Hospital. Kind and attentive, he always had time for the babies, children, their families and those of us whom were working on shift. Dear Julia, I am so sad to hear the passing of our dear friend. Max has been a mentor to me in endocrinology. He used to play tennis with my husband Guner. He still talks about their tennis matches. Our condolences to you and your family.
