  • I would like to express my sincere condolences to you, my friend, and to all members of Les' family. I know you are very distressed about your husband's death, but you were aware that his end was coming after all this time with his illness. I know that you will get over this sadness, as you know that Les is now in heaven and in a better place. Keep on being a strong woman, as I know you, my dear Valerie.

  • Hi Val, From Lara and I, Les was such a sweet man, a real salt of the earth. Always enjoyed chatting with him and remember fondly the time I had with him to talk sport, share a beer and even some music that time at Tamworth. I know he was boosted in life by your love and support, especially in these last years when things got harder. Your love and dedication to him to give him good final years of life and a dignified end was something to be in awe of. I hope you are able to send him off in true Les style, with a drink, a laugh and surrounded by loved ones. Thinking of you from the Americas!Xx

  • LES SADDLER Les joined our family quite a few years ago now through his friendship and then marriage to Val. Since then, we have come to know him as a thoroughly decent man it has been a pleasure interact with. He brought much into the lives of Val and her children and all of us. After a long and productive life which brought a great deal of pleasure to those about him, Les can now rest in peace. We would like to send our sympathy and condolences to his friends and family in their loss. We will always share happy memories of Les. He was a good bloke! From the Durrant/Bissett/Gatewood clan
