It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Gregory Joseph McCarten.

Affectionately known as Greg McCarten.

Dearly loved husband of Theresa McCarten.

Much loved father and father-In-Law of Donna and David Robertson, Jenny McCarten, Peter and Meegan McCarten, Philippa and Derek Drewett and Justin and Natalie McCarten.

Adored Pa of his 19 grandchildren.
Cherished Great Grandpa of his 13 great grandchildren.

Loved brother of Colleen Irvine, and Ann Staniforth.

Greg passed away in Griffith on Monday 22nd December 2025 at the age of 86 years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service which is to be held at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Hanwood on Friday 2nd January 2026 commencing at 10:00am followed by a private family cremation.
