It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Alessandro Tagliapietra.
Affectionately known as Sandro.
Dearly loved husband of Christine.
Much loved father and father-in-law of Paul & Nicky, Michelle & Brendan and John & Kacie.
Cherished cheeky Nonno to Sophia, Jordan, Oliver, Zara, Hugh, Darcy, Hayden, Elsie, and Rohan.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of Frank & Rosanna, Dennis & Wilma, Olga, Lynette & Peter and Stephen & Diana.
Sandro passed away peacefully at Griffith Base Hospital on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 at the age of 73 years.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and lovingly remembered for his humour, and the many memories he leaves behind.
The family wishes to inform you that there will be a private cremation.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Sandro’s Life, to be held on his birthday, Saturday, 27 June 2026, at 12:00 noon, at the La Scala Function Room, 2A Blumer Avenue, Griffith.
The family looks forward to sharing memories and celebrating Sandro’s life with those who knew and loved him.
